"FloodHounds, one of the finest bands this city has produced and I cannot recommend their live performance highly enough. Caught them at Tramlines Festival - absolutely on form!”
Christian Carlisle, BBC Introducing Sheffield
SHORT BIO - 122 words
Forming after constant meetups in the many mosh pits of Sheffield’s music scene, the South Yorkshire trio soon set about delivering their own rabble-rousing live shows, bursting with startlingly jagged guitar, welding shades of punk and swagger into snarling, riff heavy, catchy rock n roll.
It’s a sound which has seen FloodHounds play shows all over the country, supporting the likes of Kid Kapichi, The Blinders, Calva Louise, PINS, BlackWaters, and Strange Bones. As well as receiving songwriting awards from Richard Hawley; playlisting on BT TV, venturing abroad to play Paris, performing live sessions with BBCintroducing, Jägermeister, and Pirate Studios, getting shortlisted for Record Store Day’s national unsigned comp, and playing major festivals like Isle Of Wight, Tramlines & Liverpool Sound City.

“The highlight of FloodHounds’ set was undoubtably the final song Wide Awake and really started to get the crowd up and moving, with a strong driving beat and a completely unexpected, but more than welcome, harmonica breakdown.”
“Floodhounds firmly have our attention for 2024 after this gig. Sheffield has again gifted us with an artist to champion and be proud of. The trio are set for huge things this year and we cannot wait to see the successes ahead”
Live Review - Supersonic, Paris
“This three-piece from England is tighter than Tupperware with catchy hooks, guitar mastery and an absolute machine gun of a drummer, ripping snare bullets at anyone in her way.”
